Bible Insurance Agency is a third generation family owned and operated insurance agency with an experienced and dedicated staff. Our agency has been providing insurance protection to individuals and businesses in the East Tennessee area since 1931. Bible Insurance Agency prides itself on being “the agency that service built“. Raymond E. Bible

Owner

Ray joined Bible Insurance Agency, Inc. upon graduation from the University of Tennessee with a BS in Insurance and Real Estate in 1960. He received Certified Insurance Counselor Designation in 1982 and served on Insurance Company Advisory Boards of General Accident Insurance Company, Transamerica Insurance Company, and St Paul Insurance Company, serving as Council Chairman in 1988.

He is a past President of Girls, Inc and managed their Horse Show for more than 20 years. In 1988 Ray was awarded the “Della Jeffers Medlin Special Friend Award”. In 2000 he was awarded the United Way “Joe Q. Dougherty” Volunteer of the Year Award.

He is a Trustee of Walters State Community College Foundation and served as Foundation President in 2007 – 2008.

He has been a member of the Kiwanis Club of Morristown since 1960 and a George F. Hixson Fellow since 1999.

Ray and his wife of more than 50 years are members of First Presbyterian Church where he has served as elder and Church Treasurer. They have three children, one of which is a third generation owner of Bible Insurance Agency which was founded by R.H. Bible, Sr. in 1931.

The entire Bible family was recognized by the American Saddlebred Horse Association Board of Directors at its 2010 Convention for their contributions as a family to the Saddlebred Horse Industry. Five other families in the United States have received this award.

Gean Ann Sing, CLU

President, Owner

Gean Ann joined the agency in 1987 as the third generation of Bibles. She is the President of Bible Insurance Agency and serves as financial officer.

Gean Ann has served on the Board of the United Way of Hamblen County and chairperson of the Public Relations Committee. She is a Life Time member of the Morristown Area Chamber of Commerce. Gean Ann and her husband Tim are active members of First Presbyterian Church. Gean Ann graduated from Carson Newman College with a Bachelor of Science degree. She enjoys spending time at the lake and gardening.

Betty Farmer Hale, CLU

Vice President, Commercial Lines Producer

Betty is currently the Vice President of Bible Insurance Agency and the principal Agent for Commercial Lines. She is licensed in all lines of insurance: property, casualty, bonds, life and health insurance. Betty has 54 years in the insurance industry and has been an employee of Bible Insurance for over half of her professional career. She holds the Charter Life Underwriter designation from the American College. Her primary sales focus is commercial business accounts and life insurance.

Betty is a Morristown native and has a son and daughter-in-law, Clinton and Amy and two grandchildren, Sam and Phillip. She enjoys reading and her family.

Her relationship with her customers over the years is very special to her. Whether a small or large client, she prides herself on treating all her customers the same.

Allison Moody

Treasurer, Individual & Group Benefit Specialist

Allison joined the agency in 2017 to become the fourth generation of the Bible family. She graduated from Morristown West High School in 2007. Allison received her Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master’s in Elementary Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She worked for Knox County Schools for four years before joining the agency. Allison is our Benefits Specialist focusing on products including: Life Insurance, Group Health Insurance, Individual Health Insurance, Employee Benefits, and Supplemental Coverages.

Allison lives in Mascot, Tennessee with her husband, Chris, and two children Addison and Colton. They have two dogs, Lola and Piper. Allison is an accomplished equestrian with three world titles and many other state and national recognitions. The Moody’s attend Corryton Church. Allison enjoys family time, spending time at the lake and watching her children play sports.

Kathy Clemmer

Commercial Lines Producer

Kathy has over 30 years of experience in commercial insurance lines. Her primary specialties are on all types of contractor lines of insurance. Kathy maintains an office location in Greenville which allows her to service the greater Greenville and Tri-Cities area.

Being a native of Greene County, she is married to her husband George Clemmer. They have two grown children who are both married and one grandson. The Clemmer family owns a farm and is very active in agriculture and beef cattle. They enjoy traveling to Western states most Summers for vacation.

Leslie Adams

Medicare, Health, and Employee Benefits Producer

Leslie joined the agency in 2019. She graduated from Morristown East High School in 2006, and Tennessee College of Applied Technology with Degree in Business Administration in 2010. Leslie holds her Accident/Health and Life license and works primarily with Group Policies, Employee Benefits, and Medicare.

Leslie resides with her husband, Brandon, and her daughter, Hayden, in the Morristown area. She thoroughly enjoys spending time with her family and friends, camping, baking, and simply living her best life.
